About the Recipe

Ingredients

  • 150gr white rice

  • 800ml chicken broth

  • 1 stalk of lemongrass

  • 2 pieces of lime leaves

  • 1 teaspoon of salt

  • For topping:

- Fried peanuts

- Powtaytow's Kerupuk Sari Udang

- Fried onions

- Scallions

- Shredded chicken

- Chilli sauce

Preparation

1. Wash white rice thoroughly, and steam it for ±20 minutes

2. Mix steamed rice into chicken stock mix, lime leaves, and smashed lemongrass

3. Stir the congee until thicken

4. Serve it in a bowl with adding salt, black pepper, and toppings as you like
